INTERNATIONAL SYNCHRONIZED SKATING
MIXED AGE TROPHY
APRIL, 13-14TH 2018
Circolo Pattinatori Artistici Trento cordially invites you to participate at the INTERNATIONAL SYNCHRONIZED SKATING MIXED AGE TROPHY, synchronized skating competition, with the agreement of the Italian, French and Swiss ice skating Federations. The competition will be conducted in accordance to the French, Swiss, Italian and ISU rules and is open to all eligible Teams Skaters according to ISU Rule 102.
The competition will be held at Palaghiaccio- via Fersina 15 – Località Ghiaie – Trento.
It is an indoor, heated, (30mx60m) rink
All ISU Members are invited to enter their Teams at the International Synchronized Skating Mixed Age Trophy.
TECHNICAL REGULATIONS AND CONDITIONS
The International Synchronized Skating Mixed Age Trophy will be held according to the ISU General Regulations 2016, the Special Regulations Synchronized Skating 2016 as well as the valid Special Technical Rules and Conditions SYS 2017/2018 for above mentioned Competition as reported below page 4.
Every invited ISU Member may enter a maximum of four (4) Teams of the category Mixed Age to this Competition. The Federations of the ISU Members are asked to determine the Teams or to confirm their participation.
Teams, which have participated in a competition in the ongoing season in a different category than Mixed Age, are not allowed to take part in this International Synchronized Skating Mixed Age Trophy.
This Competition is reserved to the category Mixed Age only, performing a single program (Free Program).
In case of a large number of entries, the Organizer reserves the right to limit the numbers of Teams per country.
The Competition will be judged with the ISU Judging System.
The entry fee is euro 290,00 for each participating Team. The payment must be done to the Circolo Pattinatori Artistici Trento by credit transfer only no later than registration deadline. Commissions and any bank transaction fees will be at your charge and have to be paid directly to the bank.

The entry fee and/or booking will not be refunded if the withdrawal occurs after
March 15th , 2018.

PANEL OF JUDGES
The panel of Judges will be composed of 5 Judges.
Each participating ISU Member entering at least one (1) Team may enter one (1) International Judge or ISU Judge for Synchronized Skating from the official ISU list of judges for the current season. National Championship judges may also be entered.
If the entries will be more than 5, after the closing they will be chosen by draw and consequently they will be informed.
The Organizer will pay board and lodging from Friday April 13th to Sunday morning April 15th, 2018. All other expenses shall be responsibility of each official or the entering Federation or Club.
The First Judges Meeting will take place on Saturday 14th ,2018 in the morning at the Ice Rink according to the schedule.
The Round Table Discussion will be held on Saturday, April 14th,2018 after the Competition at the Ice Rink.
The official practice on Saturday April 14th, 2018. Each Team has 12 minutes official practice on ice for the free program.
DRAW – STARTING ORDER
The draw of the Free Program will take place at the Palaghiaccio on Friday, 13th, 2018 at 19:00.
The starting order of the Free Program will be determined by draw on alphabetical order of the participating countries.
The draw will be made by the Referee in accordance with the ISU Regulations.
The exact and reliable schedule will be issued after closing of entries.

Vaults and un-sustained lifts are permitted
All teams shall provide their competition music of excellent quality, on CD in accordance with Rule 724. The team must submit two (2) copies for each program at the time of registration. All CD’s must be properly inserted in their original container and be clearly identified with the name of the team and must show the exact running time of the music (not skating time).
In addition, music can be submitted in advance by emailing an MP3-file either as attachment or as a download link to the following email address : firstname.lastname@example.org
Each email message should only contain one music file or file link. The subject of the email should be in the format “Category name, Team name”.
Teams are encouraged to take advantage of submitting their competition music in
CLOSING CERIMONY – PODIUM
All participants will be present on ice in their competition costumes for the announcement of the result and for the prize awarding ceremony.
All participants will be part of the closing ceremony and are asked to follow the instructions of the Organization Committee.
The responsibility for organizing the competition is in the hands of the Organization Committee.
The organizers retain at all times the right to take the necessary measures to ensure a smooth running of the event.
All decisions concerning such measures will be taken with the agreement of the Referee.
Each individual and/or team, waive any and all rights to financial remuneration or other compensation for the use or reproduction of their image or likeness, or that of their synchronized skating team, and grant permission to use same, as or in publicity prior to, during or following the International Mixed Age Trophy 2018, in Trento, Italy.
LIABILITY / MEDICAL INFORMATION
In accordance with rule 119, it is the sole obligation of each ISU Member participating in the competition, as defined in rule 107, to provide medical and accident insurance for their Athletes, Officials and all Members of the ISU Member’s team(s). Such insurance must provide full medical coverage and also the return journey of the ill or injured person to the home country by air transport or by other expeditious means.
The Italian Ice Skating Federation and the Organizing Committee assume no responsibility for a liability with respect to bodily or personal injury or property damage incurred in connection with the event by competitors and officials.
The Organizer will not provide participant insurance coverage for the event.
The Organizer will provide emergency medical services for all competitors during the competition and official practice sessions at the official ice rink.
Each team manager should be able to give important medical information for each skater to use in case of an emergency or accident.
Such information should include but is not limited to the following, and will greatly help local medical and emergency personnel:
– existing medical conditions (i.e. asthma)
– current medications
– blood type
– use of glasses, contact lenses, dental appliances
The first three teams in each category will receive a reward.
Each competitor will receive a souvenir.
Anti-doping tests may be carried out during the competition in accordance with the valid ISU Antidoping Code (ISU Communications N° 1604-1603).
The Organizer will not take in charge accommodation and meals for the Teams.
